It covers the grounds of discrimination set out in the AGG, which include ethnic origin/racist discrimination, gender, religion or belief, disability, age and sexual orientation. The report is prepared jointly by the Federal Anti-Discrimination Agency and the relevant Federal Government and Bundestag Commissioners. These include:

• the Federal Government Commissioner for Migration, Refugees and Integration,
• the Federal Government Commissioner for Matters Related to Ethnic German Resettlers and National Minorities,
• the Federal Government Commissioner for Matters relating to Persons with Disabilities,
• the Parliamentary Commissioner for the Armed Forces,
• the Federal Government Commissioner for Jewish Life in Germany and the Fight against Anti-Semitism,
• the Federal Government Commissioner against Antiziganism and for the Life of Sinti and Roma in Germany and
• the Federal Government Commissioner for the Acceptance of Sexual and Gender Diversity (Queer Commissioner).

The Federal Anti-Discrimination Agency and the Commissioners jointly or independently prepare report sections and recommendations for action that are based on the insights gathered in the report and that are directed at legislators, state and local governments, as well as other government institutions and anti-discrimination counselling centres. The report section and recommendations mainly build on research projects on the basis of which the report is prepared by the Federal Anti-Discrimination Agency. We have presented five reports so far.
